What do beavers do when they think no one is watching—or, uh, listening? In some cases, apparently, they fart. In a very underrated video from the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, a trail camera catches a beaver as it farts loudly. The beaver is busy at work as it does this, of course, because that’s the beaver way.

“Better out than in!” wrote the Cornwall Wildlife Trust in its Instagram post sharing the funny footage. The trust works to protect wildlife and wild places in Cornwall, a county in the southwest of England. Presumably, the trust’s trail cameras typically capture serious nature moments that help scientists, but no one can deny that beaver farts are internet gold.
