Though ROA now boasts an impressive catalog of technical bags and durable outdoor oriented apparel, the Italian label remains, at its core, a designer of technically proficient footwear. While many labels it is compared to are relatively new to the intersection of fashion and outdoor function, ROA has played in the space since it launched in 2015. It comes then as no surprise to learn the company is the latest to collaborate with Vancouver-based designer Colin Meredith, who launched his eponymous Colin Meredith Studio after stints working with Noah, Arc’teryx, and Rapha and has since executed successful collaborative design projects with brands like Hoka and Ciele.
