Deer Follows Dogs Inside During Tornado Warning (Viral Video)

A heartwarming viral video from earlier this month shows a slew of dogs running into a home after their owner calls them, a tornado siren blaring in the background. Then, a deer turns the corner and comes in too, clearly also wanting some protection from the tornado. “OK, I guess you can come too,” the person taking the video says to the small deer as it comes inside.

“This weather’s got the animals worked up,” wrote Nomad’s Animal Encounter, the nonprofit rescue center in Seminole, Oklahoma that posted the footage. The short clip went viral online, with over 24 million views on TikTok alone. In other posts from the nonprofit, it seems this deer is friendly with the family’s dogs . . . or at least it is now after they all sheltered together during the tornado scare.
