See (and Hear) the Winners of this Year’s Bird GRAMMYs

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology encouraged people to vote for their favorite bird songs in several categories, including “Best Song,” “Spookiest Bird Song/Call,” and “Funniest Bird Song/Call,” among others, and now the results are in. Cornell’s Bird GRAMMYs event coincided with the real-life 2025 GRAMMY Awards, which took place last weekend, and Cornell is now slowly announcing the Bird GRAMMY winners on its Facebook page.

It’s fun to see what the public chose in each category. The winner of the Funniest Bird Song/Call category is particularly entertaining. The Spookiest Bird Song/Call strangely sounds like a wolf howling—at least at first. (You’ll have to listen to hear what I mean!)
