‘Majestic Display’: Fall Snowstorm Blankets Yellowstone
Today in Yellowstone National Park, visitors are enjoying a “majestic display”—a relatively light blanket of snow courtesy of a fall snowstorm last night. USA Today reporter Amanda Lee Myers visited the park, saying that although winter weather did force some road closures on Thursday evening, Friday morning in Yellowstone was delightful.
Myers shared some photos she took from around the park, including some of other visitors enjoying the snow-dusted landscape. She said there were a lot of vehicles waiting to get in this morning, suggesting many others besides her wanted to see the results of the fall snowstorm.
Our national parks are truly incredible. But nothing compares to the way they look and feel blanketed in snow. Put it on your bucket list.https://t.co/UgxfqImkFC

We love Myers’s shot of Grand Prismatic Spring with snow-covered trees in the foreground.
