Overcast skies and mild temperatures greeted dealers on Day One of the 2024 Elkhart RV Open House, highlighted by an evening concert featuring Collective Soul and hosted by Grand Design RV Co. Among the initial trends of Open House are an abundance of small, single-axle lightweight travel trailers that look to hit certain weights and lower price points. Also, a number of OEMs debuted their spin on destination trailers. The Open House continues today with a close eye on the weather, as rains are in the forest. Still, the dealers, manufacturers and suppliers are game for the second day of the RV industry’s largest trade-only event.
