GAFFNEY, S.C. – Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) will be showcased by several OEMs at the 2024 America’s Largest RV Show, taking place Sept. 11-15 in Hershey, Pa. FCCC’s XCM chassis will be featured on the Fleetwood Palisade, while Tiffin will display its PowerGlide XC and PowerGlide SL platforms on the Allegro Bus and Zephyr, respectively, according to separate releases.
Fleetwood Palisade Powered by FCCC’s XCM Chassis
Fleetwood will be displaying its innovative new 2025 Palisade luxury Class A diesel coach powered by the XCM chassis from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) at the 2024 America’s Largest RV Show, taking place Sept. 11-15 in Hershey, PA.
The XCM’s modular design and lowered rear section offers enhanced floorplan versatility and pass-through storage capacity. Powered by a Cummins L9 engine offering 450HP and 1,250 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2025 Palisade powered by the XCM offers several FCCC industry-first innovations, including:
- RoadWatch suite of safety features like Roll Stability, Traction Control, Collision Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control
- An ergonomic steering wheel and column-mounted controls, paired with OptiView’s all-digital gauge display create a more automotive-like experience
- DriveTech ergonomic steering wheel and column-mounted controls, which eliminates the need to reach for every command and is the only driving system in the industry that places transmission controls at your fingertips
- V-Ride rear suspension for increased luxury amenity and cargo capacity while greatly reducing body roll
- UltraSteer fully integrated and precision-tuned tag axle providing a 17 percent reduction in curb-to-curb turning radius as compared to traditional fixed tag axle and a 20 percent tighter turning angle than the nearest competitor

Tiffin Motorhomes will be displaying the 2025 Allegro Bus powered by the PowerGlide XC through its partnership with Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) – at the 2024 America’s Largest RV Show, taking place Sept. 11-15 in Hershey, PA.
The PowerGlide XC brings a number of innovations and enhancements designed to provide the best RV experience in the industry. The PowerGlide SL brings a number of innovations and enhancements designed to provide the best RV experience in the industry.
