FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Blue Compass RV celebrated the grand opening of its Airstream of San Diego store on July 17. This is the 10th Airstream location for Blue Compass RV, and the 8th Blue Compass RV dealership in California. No RV company has more Five-Rivet dealerships than Blue Compass RV, with eight Airstream stores earning this distinguished recognition, according to a release.
“The Grand Opening of Airstream of San Diego was an exceptional event to mark our entry into the Sand Diego market with an exclusive Airstream store,” said Jon Ferrando, founder, president and CEO of Blue Compass RV. “The store is off to a great start and on pace to set Airstream sales records in the San Diego market. The turnout was great. The Airstream leadership team was in attendance to celebrate the event with our team, customers and local community leaders.”
Blue Compass was joined by Airstream leadership team led by Bryan Melton, VP of Sales for Airstream, as well as Gary Akin and Mark Inkrote, who both serve in leadership roles for the West Region of Airstream. At the Grand Opening, Melton shared the history of Airstream that has inspired the RV industry and customers for almost 100 years, and his excitement for this new Blue Compass RV location.
