Modern Buggy RV Expanding, Sees Growth, Co-owner Says – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – Modern Buggy RV has added over 12 new dealers in just the last few months, according to a press release from Co-owner Earl Williams.
In addition, the company plans to expand its current 32-acre property and facility in Edwardsburg, Mich., to accept more production late summer of 2024, as more space to accommodate a new line of truck campers.
“We have brought on some very strong and strategic partners, such as, Holiday World RV, RV Country, Colton RV, PleasureLand RV, Marquart RV, Curtis Trailers, Smith RV, Zoomers RV, Trailer World and Bama RV, just to name a few,” Williams said. “We are very proud of where we have come in such a short period of time. We have been very thoughtful with our partnerships and very blessed to be partnered with such amazing dealers.
“We will continue to be very aggressive and will be working hard to round out our dealer network, while still looking to add a few more great dealers. There are a lot of brands out there, but the beauty is, dealers need what we are building more than ever. Which is lightweight affordable overland products that are capable of being pulled with a Subaru, Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, or any ultra-light truck like a Toyota Tacoma. The great news is that MODBUGs don’t overlap with dealers’ existing brands or even other teardrops for that matter, such as laminate or metal sidewall products. Modern Buggy is helping to add incremental sales to dealers daily,” Williams said.
“Our show success has been very exciting and encouraging for us, as well as a great listening and learning experience as we meet with new customers and future owners. Modern Buggy takes the input we receive from our customer base to heart. We are currently working on updating some great new features in our BB12 aka BB125, as well as developing our all new BB16 that will have the largest bed in any teardrop floorplan, and a front bunk for additional sleeping. We also have a new quad hauler and truck camper line being developed as we speak! We are so excited to introduce these new floorplans very soon.” said Matt Olds, VP of Sales.
