All the Best to Our Readers this Memorial Day Weekend – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day) is a federal holiday in the United States for mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. From 1868 to 1970 it was observed on May 30. In 1970 the observance was moved to the last Monday in May.

While Memorial Day is technically classified as a “holiday,” it seems more appropriate to call it a remembrance – a time for introspection and contemplation.

In reflecting on Memorial Day, 33rd U.S. President Harry S. Truman offered this observation: “Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.”

Regardless of how you choose to observe it, the staff at RVBusiness hopes each of you has an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend followed by a great summer.
