BoatLIFE recently announced its 65th anniversary and will celebrate with festivities and giveaways throughout the year, according to a release. The international manufacturer of high-quality boat care, boat maintenance, and boat restoration products, BoatLIFE continues to lead the market with its innovative marine sealants, waxes, compounds, epoxies, and cleaners, the release continued.
The parent company was founded in 1959 on Long Island, N.Y. by Edwin Kehrt with the launch of its first product, the marine-grade polysulfide sealant Life-Calk. The company was incorporated ten years later as Life Industries Corporation. In 1995, Life Industries relocated to its current home of North Charleston, S.C. Grace L. Schmitt, Kehrt’s daughter, took the helm in 1985 and leads the company with “unwavering commitment to its prosperous future” as it continues to grow.
RVbyLIFE was created to service the growing need for high-quality RV repair and RV restoration supplies in 2011.
The first to release marine sealants to market, BoatLIFE remains a pioneer in the marine products manufacturing industry. The company takes great pride in offering products without materials sourced from China whenever possible.
