REV Group Inc. Releases Its 2023 Sustainability Report – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
BROOKFIELD, Wis. – REV Group Inc. (NYSE: REVG), whose subsidiaries are leading manufacturers of specialty vehicles including fire trucks and RVs, has published its fifth annual corporate responsibility report. The 41-page 2023 Corporate Sustainability Report focuses on REV Group’s Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) performance and progress for fiscal year 2023 (November 1, 2022 to October 31, 2023).
REV’s 2023 Sustainability Report meets the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative Standards, which is a standardized, internationally recognized framework that enhances the transparency and accountability of reporting.
“During each step of REV’s ESG journey, we evaluate how we are realizing our company vision ‘To improve the quality of life for our customers and communities’,” said Mark Skonieczny, president and CEO, REV Group. “Whether it is improving the environmental impact of our vehicles by designing an all-electric fire truck or reducing the emissions at our facilities, we continue to focus on sustainability across all our businesses and work to create long-term shareholder value.”
REV Group 2023 Sustainability Report Highlights:
Environmental
- Engaging in multiple environmental projects to increase operational efficiency and reduce energy use, air emissions and waste. Some of the specific projects are highlighted throughout the report and the results of these efforts can be found in reduced emissions, hazardous waste, and other metrics.
Social
- Demonstrating our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce by hiring the best talent; and expanding the diversity of our workforce at all levels of the organization from the Board of Directors to front-line employees.
- Introducing My REV Hub, a suite of HR support options designed to provide our employees with an improved experience by increasing the access they have to HR support.
Governance
- Requiring REV Group’s Board of Directors to complete a minimum of four hours of continuing education.
- Appointing a new, independent member to REV Group’s Board of Directors. Maureen O’Connell is a NACD certified director and offers a wealth of financial, executive and Board experience.
