Freightliner Names Akbar Ghous as VP of Sales & Marketing – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
GAFFNEY, S.C. —Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) has announced the appointment of Akbar Ghous as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
In his new role, Ghous will drive ongoing, comprehensive strategy and management of sales and marketing operations across each of FCCC’s product categories – RV, commercial truck and commercial bus.
Ghous brings nearly 20 years of extensive experience in sales, marketing, business development, management and strategic planning and analysis to FCCC. He’s spent his entire professional career at Daimler Truck, the parent company of FCCC, in several key leadership roles in sales and marketing.
Most recently, he served as operations manager for Daimler Trucks’ senior vice president of sales and marketing, where he managed and led operations, strategic initiatives and special projects for the organization’s sales and marketing team.

Ghous earned a bachelor’s degree in international business and accounting and a master’s in business administration from Eastern Michigan University.
