General RV Center Teams with Brinkley RV to Debut Model Z

WIXOM, Mich. – In its ongoing efforts to partner with innovative industry leaders who cater directly to customer needs, General RV Center has teamed with Brinkley RV manufacturers to exclusively bring the new Model Z luxury fifth-wheel to the 2023 Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa Jan. 18-22 at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

As the first fifth-wheel created by Brinkley, the Model Z was designed by RV campers for RV campers. The mid-sized luxury fifth wheel is in a class of its own. After debuting a prototype, the RV went on a maiden voyage across the country. During that 30-day road trip, Micah Staley, Brinkley co-owner and Model Z Lead Designer, stopped at campsites throughout the 6,200-mile journey getting feedback on how to improve. After the first road trip, the company made over 250 refinements to the Model Z’s design, functionality, and durability. Three more prototypes, a few more road trips, and dozens of tests concluded the research and development phase resulting in a Model Z that is ready for customers.

Boosting a sleek automotive exterior and a modern residential exterior, the Model Z offers a variety of amenities and unique features based on extensive industry expertise and customer input. The Model Z has high-end features uncommon on a mid-size fifth-wheel, including 7K HD axles, commercial-grade 17.5” H-rated Cooper tires, flush floor slides, and even a 79.5″ interior bedroom height. It also comes with standard equipment such as electric dump valves, USB/USB-C outlets, built-in pet dishes, and innovative new square windows. Brinkley designed the Model Z to cater to campers of all levels and lifestyles.
