Tracy Anglemeyer ‘Excited for Opportunity’ at Thetford – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
Saying she is “excited for the new opportunity,” RV industry veteran Tracy Anglemeyer has joined Thetford LLC & Norcold LLC as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
In this role, Anglemeyer will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading all aspects of the sales and marketing functions to include marketing, OEM and aftermarket sales, insides sales, and customer service.
“Tracy will play a critical role in developing and implementing sales strategies, optimizing the team, and driving organic growth,” said Mary Pouliot, Thetford’s executive vice president for North America.
With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Anglemeyer most recently served as the director of recruitment for the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), where she was instrumental in leading a team to recruit and train 1,000-plus technicians to serve the growing industry.
Prior to RVTI, she served as the vice president of sales for Furrion, leading both its OEM and aftermarket teams. She also has RV OEM experience in both sales manager and product manager capacities.
Anglemeyer told RVBusiness the decision to leave RVTI was “the hardest decision I’ve made in my career. Probably the hardest decision I’ve made in my life.”
“I do thoroughly believe in RVTI and what they are doing in changing people’s lives and changing the industry by recruiting technicians that we need more in the industry and developing those that we already currently have,” she said. “And I thoroughly believe in the RVIA in general and what they do – whether it’s the Government Affairs team and what they’re doing on the Hill, to member services to Go RVing – with what they’ve brought to the table and how they’ve made the industry better.
“It was a really hard decision for me to move away from that, but it really came down the excitement of joining a dynamic company during challenging times,” she continued.
“I’m extremely excited to work with this talented team at Thetford. The ones I’ve met so far are outstanding. Their knowledge, their support, their want and desire to make the industry better is what my lifelong goal has been in and my career in the industry. I’m extremely excited to work with other people that are like-minded in making the industry better,” said added.
In addition, Anglemeyer is on the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) Board of Directors as treasurer and will move to Chair Elect on Jan. 1. She won the 2023 RVWA’s Trailblazer Lifetime Achievement Award for her efforts to elevate, educate and promote women in the RV industry. She has a business degree from Goshen College.
She will be based out of Thetford’s Elkhart, Ind., location.
