Jellystone Park’s Symposium Topic of ‘WCM’s Park Update’

Marley Behnke, Camp Jellystone’s director of franchise education, joins “WCM’s Park Update” today (Oct. 11) to highlight the upcoming Camp Jellystone Symposium being held from Nov. 6 to 9 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston, S.C.

“WCM’s Park Update” is a weekly video program produced by Woodall’s Campground Magazine (WCM), a sister publication of RVBusiness. The show airs every Tuesday at 3 p.m. EDT. You can watch the show on WCM’s Facebook or YouTube pages.

The theme for this year’s Jellystone convention is “We’ve Got Character,” which focuses on the unique charm of each Jellystone Park location.

“Each of the locations in the system is unique and has its own charm or character and, on top of that, we have four beloved Jellystone Park characters that families love to make memories with,” Behnke explained to WCM.

Jessie Cole, the founder of the Savannah Bananas, is set to once again keynote the conference.

“Our franchisees raved about his keynote last year and we are looking forward to spending more time with him this year,” Behnke said.

The Symposium will also include a trade show, which typically features more than 100 vendors, as well as educational sessions on the customer experience, hiring and retaining staff and other management topics.

WCM’s Park Update is hosted by Quiggle and Mike Gast, former vice president of communications at Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA).
