Aliner, the original A-frame camper manufacturer, hosted a company-wide “Pink Out” day to kick off its month-long support of those affected by breast cancer on Oct. 2.

The event coincided with the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is celebrated internationally each October to raise awareness and funding for possible cures.

Team members were decked out in pink shirts to show support for survivors and celebrate the lives of loved ones lost to the disease and enjoyed breast cancer support cupcakes.

Aliner has recognized the importance of breast cancer research each year and have been long-time supporters of breast cancer awareness, even putting out two special edition campers adorned with a breast cancer ribbon.

“This is a really significant topic for us,” said Brett Randall, President & CEO of Aliner. “Each year millions of women and men have their lives upended by breast cancer, and we want to do our part to support those at Aliner and in our community that continue their fight against the disease.”

The topic is especially meaningful to Randall and his wife Jana. Brett’s mother is a breast cancer survivor, and Jana’s mother ultimately lost her battle in 1989.

The awareness will also include a company donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation whose work helps to research, community health, global outreach and public policy initiatives worldwide.
