Marked by good traffic and plenty of interested buyers, the 34th Annual Fall Detroit RV & Camping Show, which was hosted by the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC), wrapped up a successful run this weekend.

Held Oct. 4-8 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich., the show attracted almost 11,000 people, MARVAC Director Darren Ing told RVBusiness, noting the gate was down Wednesday and Sunday but up Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

“We thought the show was pretty good, Ing said. “We were up in attendance from 2022 slightly, and the sentiments from the dealers was that they had a good show. People are still very interested in the lifestyle and RVs were being sold. And we also had good feedback from the consumers, who said they liked the show and that we had a good mix of RVs on display.”

The show featured nearly 400 RVs on display – ranging from pop-ups to diesel pushers and everything in between – from 12 dealerships including Bish’s RVGeneral RVKline’s RVKrenek RVHolland MotorhomesNational RVPrice Right RVRV One/Blue Compass RVTerryTown RVVeurink’s RVVicars Trailer Sales, and Woodland Airstream. In addition, the event included booth exhibitors with RV parts and accessories, hitch, towing, suspension specialists, campgrounds, and more.

Ing added that attendees included young couples, families, and seniors, “so we absolutely had a good cross representation of people who were interested in the lifestyle.”
