EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – Modern Buggy RV is gearing up for the Elkhart RV. Open House with the unveiling of the all-new Gladiator SE, gourmet coffee, hourly drawings, a “Concepts Area” and dinner at the Flat Rock Grill in Edwardsburg, according to a press release from the company.
“Come early. All are invited – media, influencers bloggers, even fellow vendors, stop on by before noon for free gourmet coffee served by American Espresso Catering,” said expressed Scott Rhode with Field and Sports. “Having done all the Open Houses since the first one when I was with Forest River, in the morning until noon most are there to work and looking for good coffee – not mimosas or carton coffee. And since there is more food available out there than on a cruise ship, we thought let’s serve Macchiato’s and Cappuccino’s instead. Get everyone pumped for the day. And if you arrive later, you can still get juiced up because we’ll have Red Bulls cooling in our 12V Camco coolers for the afternoon visitors. It fits our culture and product image.”

Earl Williams co-owner of Modern Buggy RV, said, “In the tent under veil until Monday morning will be our Gladiator SE (Special Edition). We plan on a more interactive display. I’ll have hats, shirts, a cool key chain carabiner for qualifying dealers. It is important for us to not just sell to Dealers, but show them we are leading from the front and not from behind. We will have a ‘Concepts, Ideas’ area to educate but also for them to give us feedback, with things like a dry toilet they can use it if they want. Or taking a test drive to see how smooth a tow is with the Timbren axle-less suspension. We’ll be demoing the Fogatti tankless water heater. We’ll also have a couple different 12V AC/heat combinations to check out, actual outside showers not just spray ports, the only power awning we know of on a bigger teardrop, different types of couplers and hitches – all next level to what dealers are used to seeing.”

Rhode added, “Built for those who dream of limitless adventures, prepare to break boundaries with the Gladiator’s capability. Each dealer location can only order up to four of the Gladiators. We are controlling the supply to keep the demand up. We’re having top of the hour drawings for Camco Coolers, Blackstone Griddles and JBL Speakers. The sooner a dealer qualifies for the program the more chances they have to win. Our philosophy is either you get where the industry says the market is, where it is going, and want our products to sell in this category, or you don’t. I’ve always found it weird to hard-sell someone knowing if they don’t like it right away or get it, how are they going to be successful selling and convincing others?”
Lastly Modern Buggy will be offering food to anywone who wants to break away from the noise of the bigger displays for lunch or dinner. Attendees can pick up a voucher to be used at Williams’ Flat Rock Grill in Edwardsburg.
