Truma Sponsors 25th Annual EnviroFest in Indiana

Truma North America has announced that it is sponsoring the 25th annual EnviroFest to be held in Elkhart, IN, on Saturday, August 20. The event, hosted each year by the Elkhart Environmental Center, is the largest environmental festival in that region. That part of the state is home to a number of RV manufacturers, OEM parts makers, and other industry organizations.

“The Elkhart Environmental Center does such an incredible job teaching members of our community about protecting our planet and our resources, Truma North America CEO Gerhard Hundsberger said in a press release. “We are happy to support their mission and hope we can inspire others in the RV world to get involved as well.”

The sponsorship reaffirms Truma’s institutional love for the outdoors and its commitment to protecting the environment. In March, the company also organized and hosted a spring clean-up activity to collect litter along highways in the Elkhart area. That event coincided with Earth Day and was supported by several other organizations within the RV industry.

Truma has also gone to great lengths to lower the carbon footprint at its corporate headquarters. The company utilizes environmentally sustainable technologies such as solar panels and geothermal heating and cooling while simultaneously reducing its reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

The 2022 EnviroFest takes place from 3:00 – 9:00 PM on Saturday, August 20. The event is held at Island Park in downtown Elkhart and features more than 40 exhibitors and activities, including live music, a beer garden, free canoe rides, and face painting.
