WATCH: Mountain Lion Stares Down Roofer in Insane Encounter

Have you ever stared into the eyes of a wild mountain lion—like, close enough to see the black eyeliner-like fur around its eyes? Me neither. But Andrea Schumacher’s roofer has. In fact, the roofer and the mountain lion had such an incredible encounter that the unnamed roofer’s video has begun to go viral.

Schumacher owns an interior-design firm that operates in Southern California and Denver. She tagged Action Roofing in the video and put the hashtag #SantaBarbara on the post, suggesting the showdown went down in Santa Barbara, California.

In the video, the roofer is in a vehicle with the driver-side window rolled down. The mountain lion is very close to the car, and it stares directly at the person behind the camera. It even hisses (!).

“I would’ve puma pants,” jokes one person in the comments section.

“Are you freaking kidding me it’s almost impossible to ever see one of those they are incredibly elusive! He/she is a beauty!” wrote another.
