NHTSA Releases its Most Recent Installment of RV Recalls – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Jayco Inc. is recalling 69 2020-2021 Jayco North Point fifth wheel travel trailers. The certification labels may have the incorrect tire size information, causing the operator to install incorrect tires. Jayco will mail correct certification labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 27. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901633.
Ford Motor Company is recalling 3,506 2022-2023 Transit vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 22V415. The Instrument Panel Cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, “Control and Displays.” Dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 23. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25C19.
